Many ecommerce firms make you jump through hoops to return an item. I know, I've been in the business, and returns are very expensive - one return can kill the profit on five good shipments. So, when an ecommerce company happily takes full responsibility for resolving a problem they didn't create, I say, "wow!"
This is turning into a why buy from Amazon thread, but my latest WOW experience was also from that retailer. I bought a top-of-the-line HP computer from them, and unfortunately it was DOA. Not the retailer's fault at all... seemed to be a bad power switch. HP wanted to go through some kind of on-site repair procedure. Amazon happily sent a call tag for the DOA unit. I ended up buying an even more costly unit from them, because I had the confidence that I could return it without hassle if I had to.
