Hi,

I have now extensively trialled both cubecart and zen cart packages and neither quite fit the bill for my new site.

Cubecart doesnt quite have the feature set that I need (no UK google checkout support, and not enough product status options for me). However I do use this on another site and it works very well as I don't have the same requirements there)

Zen cart is difficult to configure properly (I find the whole zones thing impossible to manage and combine with google checkout). It is also difficult to upgrade and not very flexible to manually design the site around the template system.

(Google checkout is necessary as the fees are low)

I did find that the support that cubecart offers was invaluable for getting issues fixed and the staff there were great. The main real problem with zen cart is the lack of support (the forums aren't really a good substitute).

So ideally what I'm looking for is some cart software that is:

* Well supported (I dont mind paying for support)
* Easily customizable
* Supports google checkout for the UK
* Inexpensive
* runs on Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'll be happy to report back on which works best for me
