One thing I am in the middle of doing is re-writing my product descriptions, since I have been using the descriptions given from my distributor. I've come to find that this is really time consuming.

Who wrote your product descriptions (you, or did you have somebody do it for you?), and are they unique (does anyone else have the same description on their site)?
