Since it is obvious from your posts that you don't like ecommerce, tell your boss that you won't do it anymore and to get someone who IS interested in doing it.

ecommerce sites start as one sale, then another then SEO optimising, than more visitors, then more sales.

An ecommerce site needs to be nurtured, tweek it here and there. If you are not ready to do that, quit doing it.

The thing that is really not obvious in early ecommerce is that
a change today might increase sales in six months.
a change today may mean no sales for a month until you determine what happened.

My advice, gardening is not for everyone. Ecommerce is similar to gardening. You have to want to do it.
