True, but not many companies are interested in the following attitude:

My goal is not to bust my Arse to make somebody else rich.

Although you mentioned before about having problems communicating efectively, I would suspect that your attitude towards your work and boss is actually communicated quite well to everyone around you.

If you hate your job so much, then quit and bust your arse to make yourself rich. If that's not an option, then I suggest you change your opinion of your job. (In fact, you might be amazed at what an attitude adjustment will do for your stress level, your situation, and maybe even your salary.)
