i don't have a yahoo store, but the amount of traffic i get from the yahoo stores that i am linked with is better than most of my other link friends who have smaller sites.

i think it is probably a good idea for a small store that has excellent products.

i would also suggest doing some other promotion along with your yahoo store, like link exchanges, your own keyword domain, and perhaps a little ad well placed on a industry specific megasite.

but, besides the link exchange (which only costs time), it may be a good idea to wait a bit and evaluate your success with just the yahoo store before you spend more money on promotion, if your budget is very tight.
