Thats not what I'm looking for but I appreciate your help.

I found a different way to state exactly what I am looking for:

>From one frameset, I have a set of links that need to be opened in
another frameset. There are 10 links involved, so the client would
prefer to avoid having to create a frameset for each link with the
appropriate .html file in the main frame. Is there a way to link to a
frameset and define which .html file would used in the main frame?

Please help again legster if you this help you more understand what I am trying to accomplish.

I have found some information on using a query string, but to be honest with you I am about as primitive as it gets when is comes to using javascript.
