I actually said intentionally "nobreak spaces" and not
In xhtml5 there only a very few htmlentities predefined (<, >, &, " and ') so you need to use the UTF-8 encoded nobreak space instead.
is a nobreakspace in case you've a hard time seeing/typing them directly.
xhtml1.1's dtd defined them but since there's no dtd anymore ...
