it would be natural to think Safari's gains would be significantly higher (similar to Google Chrome/Android).
Note, Android does not include Chrome, so don't make the assumption that Chrome stats are coming from Android devices.
Also, here's another stats site which shows IE below 50%:
I don't know any consumer that's even heard of chrome
I've seen consistent increases in Chrome usage in my stats, and know plenty of consumers that have heard of it. It's the number 3 browser worldwide, or if you look at the last 7 days only, it's actually the number 2 browser (while Firefox 4 users are in the midst of upgrading to Firefox 5). :)
