There is very little to HTML: the DOCTYPE and the head and body sections; the title and metadata in the head section; headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, forms, images and links in the body section, and very little else worth worrying about. The content can be styled using CSS.

The basics of HTML can be mastered in a few days, and the basics of CSS can be mastered in a few weeks.
