The processing of the script by IE is more a function of the system files it's using. And Win9x and WinNT/2k are based on two very different kernels. I'm just now exploring this subject since I recently installed and started using Win2k Professional. I'm discovering all sorts of strange indiscrepencies inside given programs. Just because a program runs under both OSs, doesn't mean it runs exactly the same under both. Hope that helped shed some light for you. -Scott
Without getting too into detail, which I'm not sure I could, it seems to me that it's obviously the way the two different kernels process the script.
