On a related note, sometimes I think we are actually lucky to go through a period of designing for small bandwidth. The best Flash sites are the ones that are slow to reveal that they are, in fact, Flash sites. Granted, I've only seen a few like that, with most Flash sites attempting to build a bigger, better hamsterdance.
