I can't seem to get it to work on my office or home PC - it starts, can't get a connection and then hangs.

Maybe it was a bum download.

I'll wait for the final - no point testing my code in a beta browser and I'm really not even slightly excited about this release, simply because microsoft are copying what has been around for years - and because it's platform independent.

Having said that, I'm holding thumbs that they don't break anything, or introduce more quirks, even though I know they will.

Microsofts idea of standards and everyone elses are entirely different beasts - the 800lb gorilla v the 2lb weakling.
