Last cookie normally 'wins' in travel. We have run tests with a friendly merchant and the difference in sales attributed is minimal. As far as we are concerned if a customer books through our site we expect to get the credit.
We are currently running a test on white label versus the merchants site, so far having the merchants site shown has increased sales 3 times, but I guess it depends on the merchant !
