Hi,
My website isn't modeled after an ecommerce type shopping cart site where customers submit orders this is one of my main reasons of developing an "in-house" affiliate program this way I can set up commissions the way I need them to work.
I've been researching online "in-house vs network" affiliate programs, and I see that there are both pros/cons in using both.
A couple concersn I have of doing an "in-house" affiliate program are:
- Not having access to all the affiliates already on "network" affiliate programs which makes it easier to promote.
- I contacted some OPMs, and some of them say they only work with merchants listed on "network" affiliate programs and not "in-house" affiliate programs.
One option I was thinking of doing is signing up for a "network" affiliate program and run a $1 'per lead' commission for each new customer registration because I can still add the "network"'s code to my website on my customer confirmation page. And at the same time continue to use my "in-house" affiliate program to give affiliates other methods to earn more commissions through my affiliate program through different methods.
Is this possible to do; run an "in-house" and "network" affiliate program?
Thank you!
