Im really sick of living under googles boot, in constant fear of being banned from adsense because 1 page out of 500,000 is in violation.
Their model is completely broken and the little push button monkeys they hire dont give a damn that they are ruining peoples lives when they carelessly turn off their AD's even though a site may be 99.9% in compliance.
So im going direct, its been a long time coming.
Before I start building an entire framework for serving my clients AD's, I need some feedback from people who sell direct.
WHAT do advertisers want most?
I dont think they are particularly happy with the way adwords works. Its too complicated. They have a monthly budget they want to spend, so lets make it real easy for them.
For the webmasters that sell AD space directly, what kind of terms do direct advertisers like to work with the most? What are the 3 most popular models of advertising?
Does anyone split up their AD packages by 1) squeaky clean sites 2) slightly mature content sites 3) soft #*$! , etc?
