I've read several articles/ads recently that seem to imply that what the authors were doing is generating traffic for affiliate programs via Google's Content Network (OK, I get this).

It also sounded like (or I assumed?) that they had no website, that the traffic linked directly to the affiliates' sales site.

1. Is this possible/allowed?
2. Seems as if most affiliate networks require you to have a website.

The model I described in my opening paragraph is what I'm interested in doing. Please respond to the two questions above, and advise me on which affiliate network I might accomplish this model with.
