I think GlobalMax is correct in the context of CJ -it refers to direct links to inner pages of the merchant's site.

From CJ definition of destination URL:
"Enables you to direct a link to a specific page on the advertiser site that is most appropriate for your audience.

This option only appears if the Advertiser gives you permission to override their destination URL. This is done on a per-link basis by the advertiser."
