I have found a small niche that according to overture gets about 7000 searches per month and it's main keywords (about 10 of them) get 50-100 searches per month. The competition is there but the quality of their sites is low.

Looking at the top ten sites I'm pretty sure I can rank in the top 5 in quality and quantity, maybe number 2 or 3.
Is it worth trying this in such a small niche?

If I do build a site that is better then the top ranked how long do you think it would take google to see and rank me?
