Searching for 'search engine' on ask gives interesting and somewhat biased results. Little wonder they don't have much consumer confidence. Next, try searching for 'best search engine' ;)

I have a suspicion that their competitors would not take kindly to Ask starting PPC for 'search engine'. I might be wrong.
