I have to give the kudos to MSN for their wonderfully fresh index.
Now that Ask Jeeves has included the date and time that pages were last cached, it's obvious that pages that are currently in the index are frequently crawled and cached, but newer websites will have to wait a while before they enter that index. Or is it? I have a website that was indexed by Ask Jeeves a couple of months back when it only had one introductionary page. Now, since two weeks, it has a complete website on it, but Ask Jeeves, though having crawled it frequently, won't update its cache. In fact, it does not even have a cache. When searching for the website's URL, the old title and description of the introductionary page are shown, but there's no link to a cache.
