Well lycos is pretty much dead as a search engine. Their email is badly lagging behind the other fellas. But they have highly visited sites that are bringing all the revenue, wired, monster etc...

Lycos is targeting mostly Europe visitors, and difference between Lycos.co.uk and Lycos.com is huge.

However these are great news for Ask Jeeves, but it wont bring nothing special to Lycos, it's just the whole business structure that's poorly organized. It's definetely not working out, and I guess its their fortune to be average.
