From logs I've seen of other amateur sites on totally unrelated topic to mine, thing is typical. As caine wrote: "they seem to be happy with biting at .x% gains in overall annual search traffic." I'm confused as much as everyone else here seems to be. Why the lack of drive, and the urge to compete? AJ is a pretty good search engine.
I just checked last months logs for an amateur site of mine. This site dominates all the SEs, including ask.com. Google and Yahoo are WAY at the top. Over 9,000 inbounds from Google, and 2,500 from Yahoo. MSN brought in about a 1,000 hits, and 500 from ask.com.
