try signing up with myjeeves and use the save feature. Jeeves keeps a database of saved pages and search history. Spamming would be very difficult if jeeves is strict on verification with enrollment. ALso, I believe this is a preview of a more robust software..i.e. desktop search application. From what I see so far from myjeeves, I can try to guess what jeeves will have on it's desktop application. But I'd rather like to see these feature: 1) ability to search files content of different format on desktop and complimentary result from somewhere else. <very useful with tying information together. Researchers would love it.>
Warren,
2) ability to save search and organize files by keywords. (Maybe, have teoma suggest a folder name).
3) ability to have complimentary result from the web that is associated by topics or keyword search you used to search local files <same as #1>. (this is where teoma shines, Imagine a word document file containing an essays on your harddrive...well, why not let teoma give you some suggestion and links to other websites that are related in someways when you search for you essays by content. That would bring wealth of information to the users.)
