Both spiders takes all of the information from the page that you would expect - content, links, keywords, alt tags, title tages etc. These factors, including some off page factors, are then used in the relevancy algorithm. I believe that the page description etc are dynimcally generated. Ask Jeeves does not receive as much traffic as a Yahoo!, MSN or a Google. That may be why the number of clicks you have seen may be so low. Many of my clients find that Ask Jeeves, whilst not generating huge volumes of traffic, actually convert quite well. Also, the transfer of clicks to your account management area is not real time. It may take Either way, you have paid for 12 months - hope you can get enough sales to cover the cost! Warren
The paid spider at Ask Jeeves is based on the Teoma technology. The main difference is that it returns to your site every 7 days, where as Teoma may not return for a period of time.
