No definatly not paid - i emailed them many moons ago and was eventually included on the list - i am still the site it takes you for a specfic more targeted question.

However for a question which is more general (but still highly relevent to the site) then the 'answer' site has changed to a wider general site.

This same site has also recently been added to the 'pull down' menu where i beleive you do pay to be listed.

I find it too much of a conicidence that they start paying to be listed and then appear in the 'editorial' answer section.

This is with ASK UK btw - i believe it displays results slightly different to .com version.
