---- Ask.com PPC Settlement

Seriously though, is this real? It sure seems questionable. I called one of the legal firms listed and they did confirm to be representing the defendant, ask.com, but still...

- I got two emails within an hour.

- The website looks like a crappy domain squatting affair.

- The settlement lists that ASK, which isn't the name of the company anymore, will establish an $820,000 million settlement fund. That number would be $820,000,000,000, wouldn't it? Isn't all of ASK.com worth a few tens of millions?
From the website [asksettlement.com...] "Under the settlement, Ask will establish a $820,000 million settlement fund."

- Don't they have to mail notice of a legal settlement?

Regardless, if they are offering "credits for future advertising," it certainly won't entice me to give them another chance. In my mind their traffic has gotten way worse since last year.

Anyone have more thoughts about this?
