I don't know that this is a wildly popular search, but the thealgorithm.com is a slick piece of work, with very effective use of sound on mouse-over. Should probably post this in the Flash forum.

In an odd way, it's also just a one-page doorway site leading you to Ask. ;) That search for [the algorithm], btw, ranks on Google, but not on Ask.

When I checked the source code on the page, I noticed the meta keywords tag, which is pretty funny. I assume it's OK to post here, because it's obviously not intended for rankings (but mod, please delete if not OK)....

PS added... The various links you discover as you mouse over the text are all about the (Ask) algorithm and take you to searches in Ask.com that give you a good background in what the Ask algo is.
