This week I wanted to mention the free tools here at WebmasterWorld which are all currently in beta.
We have a range of tools for webmasters wanting to analyse their sites, including:-
Social Media Tools
Web Design Tools
Miscellaneous Useful Tools
Let me pick one tool for a mention: Google Backlink Checker Tool for Penguin & Disavow Analysis. Many webmasters that have been hit by google's Penguin update are looking for tools to help them analyse and understand the issues. This tool will help webmasters considering a disavow submission.
Simply upload your Google Webmaster Tools backlinks and allow the program time to analyse the links. Once the report is ready, just follow the link you were e-mailed.
Jim's produced a couple of 15-minute videos to help you understand the tool, and here's part one.
Here's part two
Please watch the videos before using the tool as it will help you understand how to use the tool and how to make sense of the results.
