One should not encourage bullies..Larry is bullying with the pushing of G+..and as regards WebmasterWorld..the G+ button is on every page ( in spite of the privacy issues that the loading of it via jscript and the subsequent identifying ability that it gives to G vis a vis our "nicks" ) ..and yet it is hardly ever used..
Look at any thread here ..do you see enthusiasm for G+ ..does the button get used ? ..No..
Ignore it ( G+ ) and it will eventually go away ..and if Sergey or Eric were to grow some, and tell Larry that you catch more flies with attractive honey than by pushing their faces in the jar of "I have a mountainously sugary party too"..then G+ would maybe become something other than Larry's sulky wannabee alternative, to the party that nearly everybody is at, but which he ain't the host of..
The fact that pinterest has come from nowhere and got traction, and began after G+, and with non of the "push" and "insistence" and to be honest, "coercion" that Larry has put behind G+ ..
Speaks libraries, not just volumes, about how wrong Mr Pages approach to "social" is..
Only a tiny minority of the users of the internet and of any forum are interested in G+..
The G+ buttons and their "non use" here just show how unappealing it is ..his numbers are only what they are due to the sign ups of new android phones and tablets ( which unless you already have a Google account, give you / force you.. a G+ account to get your device to connect to any Google app or the "market" /"play" )..
Strong arming "signups" is not the way to get willing participants..and the number of dormant and unused G+ accounts shows this to be true..
It certainly doesn't merit the "cred" that a dedicated forum here would give it..
If it wasn't Larry's very own "Idea" ..it would have been shut already and the VP responsible fired, or sent to be the new ASA here..:)
