"Scroll down to review the previous messages" as it stands is misleading. Minor detail, but the board is, rightly, really punctilious about posting rules: so the instructions should also be crystal clear--something like this, above the quick reply box:

"Use 'quick reply' if you need to refer to the previous post.
If you 'reply to this topic' you will just see the first post.
This helps to keep threads on-topic".

The disadvantage is, you can't cut'n'paste from the previous answer when in reply mode.
