What a great question. Of course, my words mean nothing since I'm also a "new member".

I'm pretty sure the monikers are only relative to the number of posts you've made. I'm sure that these prodigious & prolific members you mention are really just people who have been around a long time & made a large number of posts. Of course, such people would definitely be much further down the learning curve, and probably pretty well informed & fairly knowledgeable about WebmasterWorld issues.

That said, I don't really discount the posts made by new members. Personally, I'm brand new under this name only because I left a pseudonym by the wayside when I left my old job (as a well-known agency SEO).

Any knowledgeable post backed up with evidence & sound logic gets its merit in my book. After a while, I see who's really got the juice & who doesn't ;)
