This was my first PubCon and I’ll definitely be back. PubCon is unique in the conference world. Sure, it had sessions and formal speeches like other Internet marketing conferences, and yes, it even has a party in the Pub, but PubCon is more. Unlike most conferences that are “generic” and impersonal, the atmosphere at PubCon was akin to being at a family reunion or a gathering of friends. You could feel the genuine admiration and mutual respect people felt for each other. It was a great experience. I also want to thank Brett, Mike Grehan, Anne Kennedy and everyone else who attended PubCon for making my birthday so special. I was truly touched by the cake, the song, and the many birthday wishes. You guys are great. You made it a birthday I’ll never forget.
Thanks to Brett, Hawkgirl, Web Guerrilla, Oilman, and the people behind the scenes that made PubCon happen. Putting on a conference is no small feat and you pulled it off with style.
