Sorry for being so slow in respoding to your intial post here in the Euro Forum.

Years ago we did a European Search Engine Chart [webmasterworld.com]. CAUTION, this chart is from 2002 and very very outdated! However it will give you an idea of how the markets look like.

We tried to maintain an updated chart, but it's very time consuming keeping up with the ever changing landscape of European search engines, their technology and market shares. Furthermore none of them publish their traffic/search stats, so we only have our members referral stats to go by, which probably are somewhat scewed and maybe represent numbers that does not reflect the actual market share of the search engines.
