I'm a DMOZ editor myself. And yes editors.dmoz.org has issues. None of us can log in to do editing and we're expecting an announcement from DMOZ when the AOL staff has fixed the service.

I think they are reluctant to start with incomplete data on the editing side and are doing work to prevent this from happening again (planned work that lost the race with the outage).
