Should it be all search engines all the time?

Should it be YellowPages.com all the time?

Human edited directory or algo?

Social networking votes?

Such an interesting future. So many versions of search and directory and . . . opportunities to spam and exploit systems.

What does the future look like to you? The present? All efforts to spam and exploit whereever possible? New approaches = new leagions of manipulators?

What's your vision?

I see lots of flavors of "find this" and lots of people finding different approaches that work best for different search issues. Lots and lots and lots, especially as people who have grown up online begin to change the search demographic.

Still, even the old folks seem to be learning new tricks and looking for new ways to get things to work. By old I mean the babyboomers. The old old folks, well even they sometimes get beyond figuring out how to send an attachment. ;)
