My argument is that the ODP's deficiencies AS A RESOURCE FOR SEARCH ENGINES lie in the most fundamental aspects of its concept, and cannot be fixed as suggested, or in any other way, in a manner that would render it valuable to search engines.
I am in no way making statements regarding its usefulness to a certain brand of surfer. You are free to choose and I do not begrudge your preference for the ODP over search engines.
