I get a nice bit of traffic via Dogpile, Excite and Metacrawler. In these instances the traffic is coming from Teoma/Ask db and some from the Ink backfill on Overture. To your point Jeremy: real people do use those metasearch engines, and I find especially Dogpile.

I also get traffic from ixquick: this is primarily through Teoma and Gigablast. I get very little directly from Gigablast.com but I get a nice bit from ixquick.

Some hits from Mamma again attributable to Teoma.

I get more hits directly from Searchhippo than I do directly from Gigablast.

Just for perspective: I probably get almost as much traffic from a clutch of specialized directories as I do many of these Alt. SE's put together. However, those top 3 metasearch engines do generate traffic.
