AllTheWeb will sadly be missed. It had a great run.

Its backlink reporting feature was the best. Does anyone know a suitable replacement besides Yahoo sitexplorer? I am well aware of SEOMoz explorer but their DB cache of links is always out of date (no regular updates)

Besides Yahoo Sitexplorer, are those the only alternatives for finding backlinks?

IncrediBill: I can't imagine it costs them much of anything to leave this living legacy online.

Wouldnt their hundreds of servers used to index sites consume a lot of power and require constant hardware updates/management/bw fees?
