I hate this situation. The Internet is the Internet. It was designed to be displayed on larger screens because it is very much a visual experience. That was one of the things that made it so popular.
The marketers are now driving people to mobile devices because people can be driven to change these more often and it easier for them (the marketers) to create a demand for new devices.
The Internet is what it is. Any attempt to miniaturise it results in a limited and diminished experience but that's where we are heading folks. They are making us change the Internet to fit these devices rather than making the devices fit the Internet. Sad but true.
