My personal experience is that there are very few referrals from Pinterest per pin - and I'm in the lady craft bizniss, so the dismal results may be surprising to some. I reckon other types of websites may have different results. It's not because Pinterest blows chunks for me, that it doesn't rain rainbows on, say, recipe sites.

However, my personal observations have given me some reservations, and some other websites seem to confirm that Pinterest is no referral miracle:
