You are making some incredibly generalised straw men..
And as they are entirely of your own making ( as is the way with "straw men" ) your destruction of them..is less indicative of the cogency of your points than you apparently imagine..

I'd put my money on the fact that the average Pinterest user is a women aged from say 18 to 50.

As those are more or less the stats given by Pinterest themselves..where is the "revelation" implied in where you would place your money in a bet ?

They are not going there to buy, they are going there to stick pictures of what they have found..and hope that others there will like them, or visit their pages there, merely because of their collection of pictures..which in the vast majority of cases the "pinner" had absolutely no part in the creation of..
