I plan a spring clean. Unique; possibly not.
Your opinion, please...
I'm going to take my images out of indexing, am also going to block them in robots.txt and will set header noindex, nofollow.
Relevant to this is the clean-up I plan.
(1) Over the years, as I got more clever as to how things work, I centralized upload of images to blog/images/ folder. There is, however, a number of posts that still point to varied orphan places. This I plan to clean up and also centralize.
(2) I also have a number of links I want to revert to nofollow to save rediculous link-juice loss.
My question is this:
What are the chances of exporting my posts table doing the clean-up, and importing it...to over-write the older version?
The post meta, in essence will stay the same, so there shouldn't be a problem, right?
Yeah, I know - shortcuts ;-)
I'd just hate to go the being-online-forever-while-fixing in phpmyadmin.
There's only 70 posts, of which possibly 10% will be affected.
Eagerly awaiting interesting responses.
