I can see already people saying "now everyone can have a record of every time he tried a new coffee", but I welcome everything that frees up my data and makes it available to me.

Not that I want my Tweets or Facebook updates, per se, but I wish FB had a similar thing (I know you can request your data, but it's not the same as just getting a download).

In other words, I don't see a need for this currently, but I can imagine a millions situations where I might.

I can also see that companies who need to keep compliance records would be find that task simplified.
