It's definitely easy to create an account there, and they don't demand as much personal information as FB does.

Until recently I wasn't much of a fan of it for personal uses, although I've used it successfully for years to make announcements to clients. I'm giving it a try though.

The biggest issue I've had so far is lots of people I can't possibly know are following me. Mostly bloggers and authors. It's kind of creepy and one reason why I might not continue to use it.
