I never found twitter useful for anything except customer service issues and breaking news on occasion. I think it probably dumbs people down and makes them more anti-social than text messaging. I used to post my own workouts on there more for my own records than anything else. When a new blog post goes up it still gets posted to twitter, I think. It has it's uses for sure and is valuable at time for some things but 99% of the time those uses don't match anything I have a need for.
