I have tried it. My advice is DON'T UPGRADE if you like any of the features of the old app. The new TweetDeck is completely different. It is only good for maintaining Twitter accounts now. If you used TweetDeck for interacting with other SNS properties like LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook then forget it. Those features have been removed or hobbled.
