Hi, I've been managing small targeted twitter campaigns for about a year now and have found the most successful to have a business function that is relevant to your business. Ask yourself how can twitter help your business internally and most importantly externally improve its communication.
The key is to get your customers to communicate with you either in a support capacity or sales etc etc.
