Years ago I heard about a way to search Twitter posts through summize.com.
Then I read Twitter bought Summize, and when you went to www.summize.com you were redirected to a twitter.com search page. It was too complicated to remember the URL so whenever I wanted to search Twitter (by hashtag or whatever) I went to summize.com and let the redirection occur.
I assume lots of other people did the same.
Now that doesn't work, and when I look up the domain info on summize.com, it says the name is expired and pending deletion.
Why would Twitter let the domain name go? Isn't this part of what they paid for when they bought Summize.
I am thinking of contacting Twitter and encouraging them to recover the domain so some sleazeball domainer doesn't get it.
