i feel i should get upto speed with facebook, please could someone fill me in with some of the basics!


i've listed a bunch of statements/questions below if anyone has the time to answer them, or confirm that the statement is correct.

...

1). I realise i can make a facebook business 'page', it seems to me one has to be a member of facebook as the 'page' has to be owned/started by a facebook member, is this correct (i am a member and have created a business page, i'm just wondering if you can do it without, eg like for a client)

2) i can put a LIKE button on webpages of my site with the url of my 'facebook page' thus if anyone clicks the like they effectively become my follower, and if i post on my facebook page they will see my post?

3) i can also put a like button on a page on my website with the url of the actual page on my website, if a user then clicks it, it may well show on their timeline and on their friends pages briefly, especially if they leave a comment? however i assume that if i post a message on my facebook business page, they will not see that on their timeline as they haven't liked my facebook page, only a page on my website?

4) any basic tips for getting up and running with a facebook page?
